32. Recovery is a Gift

I can’t change my past, but everyday that I’m sober I change my future. I add value by going to meetings, by sharing my journey, by making the choice to keep moving forward.

The harder I work, the luckier I get. Recovery is a gift. I’ll admit I need help.

Accepting responsibility

I mitigate bad situations thanks to my recovery tools. I can’t change my past. Everyday that I’m sober I change my future. I add value by going to meetings, by sharing my journey, by making the choice to keep moving forward.

If I’m feeling quiet and start hiding in my shell. I know that strength comes from surviving through low times. I identify my low times and reach out for help when I need it.

By the grace of my Higher Power I continue to put in the daily work for my Sobriety. I’m not the person I used to be. I used to hope for sobriety. Today I have the courage to ask for help, the will to do so.

Gratitude of the day: Today I’m filled with gratitude as I choose to be clean & sober.

Action of the day: Today I will let someone know I’m here for them if they need to talk, and let them know I trust them enough to go to them when I need to talk.
